"We had some discussions and we pretty much cleaned up a lot of the fouls,'' said Hopper. "I think they worked together as a team.
"By not giving up a lot of the fouls we avoided some of the problems we had Saturday. I never would have thought two quick goals. I thought Woodrow played well, but I didn't think they were able to penetrate through our back.''
Woodrow senior goalie Josh Moore made one stop.
"[George Washington] scored the first couple of minutes of the first half, then I thought we played well,'' said Woodrow coach Rocky Powell, whose team lost 3-1 to GW during the regular season.
"It was a pretty even game. Then again, coming out of the second half they score again. Two goals against a team like this is a tough deficit to come back from.''
