Cody Mitchell scored four touchdowns and piled up over 300 total yards as Point Pleasant (9-0) remained unbeaten with a 50-0 victory over visiting Oak Glen Saturday afternoon.
Mitchell caught four passes for 87 yards and three touchdowns and returned 155 yards worth of punts, including one for a 65-yard score. He also carried nine times for 88 yards.
The Big Blacks' leading rusher was Chase Walton, who rolled up 142 yards on 11 carries, including scoring runs of 4 and 5 yards. Point Pleasant quarterback Aden Yates completed 8 of 9 passes for 120 yards and three scores.
Point Pleasant, which entered the week No. 3 in the Class AAA playoff ratings, hosts No. 15 Lewis County to close out the season next week.
The Greyhounds (9-0), ranked No. 3 in Class A, bolted to a 32-6 lead after one quarter. They host Gilmer County next Friday in an attempt to complete a 10-0 regular season.
Dante Wilkerson added 71 yards and one TD on four carries for Valley. For the Patriots (4-5), Ryan Wilson ran 27 times for 189 yards and three scores.
The Skyhawks (3-6) scored on a 61-yard pass from Bo Jeffrey to Cody Brown and a Cameron Loftus 1-yard run that tied the game 13-all at halftime.
For the Panthers (3-6), Tyler Conley completed 8 of 17 throws for 138 yards and one TD and David Runyon added a TD run and two catches for 62 yards.
