Advertiser

Jarrod Calhoun was named the head basketball coach at Fairmont State, the school announced on Tuesday. Calhoun was an assistant at West Virginia University last season and spent the previous four years as the director of basketball operations at WVU.

Calhoun replaces interim coach Brett Vincent, who led the Falcons to an 8-19 record, including a 6-16 mark in the West Virginia Conference. Vincent replaced Tim Murphy, who was fired before the season began last November.
