Just one day after the conclusion of the NFL draft, four former West Virginia players signed free-agent contracts.

Defensive end Julian Miller signed with the Cincinnati Bengals, safety Eain Smith agreed to terms with the Washington Redskins, offensive lineman Don Barclay signed with the Green Bay Packers, and long snapper Cody Nutter joined teammates Najee Goode and Keith Tandy with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Goode and Tandy were picked by the Bucs during the draft's final day Saturday.
