MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- West Virginia University women's basketball coach Mike Carey is the honorary chairman for this year's Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign in Morgantown.

The Red Kettle campaign enables the Salvation Army to provide food, toys and clothing to households during the holiday season and help residents recover from personal disasters throughout the year.

Carey also has teamed up with a Salvation Army program that provides gifts for children of needy families whose names aren't chosen from an "Angel Tree" during the holidays.

WVU says that during the women's basketball game on Nov. 17 against South Carolina Upstate in Morgantown, fans who bring an unwrapped toy for the Angel Tree program will receive a voucher to be admitted to a future women's home game.
