CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia University offensive line coach Bill Bedenbaugh has accepted a job at Oklahoma.

WVU athletic director Oliver Luck confirmed Thursday evening that Bedenbaugh, 40, will leave the Mountaineers for the Sooners.

Oklahoma lost its offensive line coach Monday when James Patton took a job in Indiana under former OU assistant Kevin Wilson. Bedenbaugh is the fourth of WVU's nine assistant coaches from last season to either leave or be fired.

Prior to coming to West Virginia, Bedenbaugh was an assistant at Arizona under current Oklahoma offensive coordinator Mike Stoops.
