WVU, EPA signing pact to help campus go green

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - The Environmental Protection Agency will help West Virginia University go green by developing a plan to save energy and reduce waste.

EPA regional administrator Shawn Garvin and WVU President James Clements are signing an agreement under the Sustainability Partnership Program on Tuesday. It's also designed to help minimize the use of natural resources.

Department of Environmental Protection Secretary Randy Huffman and WVU student environmental leaders are expected to attend the ceremony in Morgantown.

Marshall University signed a similar agreement Monday.
