WVU Extension Service offers program on oil, natural gas leases
The West Virginia University Extension Service is presenting a free, educational program for the public titled “Look Before You Lease: Oil and Gas Lease Considerations for Landowners.”
The program takes place at 6 p.m. on May 29 at the Community and Education Center at the Habitat for Humanity Restore in Charleston.
Experts from Ohio State University and WVU Extension Service will be on hand to discuss the opportunities and challenges posed by the growth and development of the region’s oil and gas industries.
With oil and gas leases on the mind of property owners across the state, WVU Extension Service’s Oil and Natural Gas Team aims to provide unbiased programming based on expertise and knowledge to help the citizens of West Virginia make informed decisions about the oil and natural gas industry.
