An evening of art at Thursday’s ArtWalk
It’s the third Thursday of the month, so that means it’s time for Charleston’s free, monthly ArtWalk. Don’t let Mother Nature’s expected rainy mood keep you away. Grab an umbrella, and head out to see some May flowers at Awyn Danielle McQueen Milam’s Georgia O’Keeffe tribute “Georgia’s Impatiens” (pictured) at Gallery Eleven, as well as Ohio artist Hal Shunk’s first West Virginia exhibit at Art Emporium, the City of Charleston Stormwater Department’s 2014 Rain Barrel Tour at the city’s service center, the Charleston Camera Club exhibit “Out of the Darkroom” at Romano & Associates and the grand opening of the Heidi Dylan Boutique at Uncork & Create. Other participating venues are The Charleston Ballet, The Boutique by B.Belle Events, Visions Day Spa, Taylor Books, Good News Mountaineer Garage, Chet Lowther Studio, The Purple Moon, Modern by Design, Christina De Filippo at Zando’s Catering Unlimited, Mission Savvy, Delfine’s Jewelry, West Virginia Executive, The Greater Kanawha Valley Foundation, Capitol Conference Center, Timothy’s at Quarrier Diner and Woomer, Nistendirk and Associates.
