Donation adds $5,000 to camp fund; still time to give
An anonymous donor has given the Gazette Charities Send-a-Child-to-Camp Fund $5,000, paving the way for many more children to have a chance to attend camp this summer.
Even with this generous gift, however, the fund will need a late burst of giving to reach its goal.
If you haven’t already given to the fund, please consider a donation.
One of the dedications in this week’s list of donations says their gift is “in memory of those who gave so I could go to camp when I was a little girl.”
If you would like to help the fund help children and perhaps honor past givers in the process, look for the donation coupon in today’s paper or go to wvgazette.com and click on the camp fund logo.
