Marilyn G. Arbogast

Marilyn Gail Arbogast, 55, of Elkview, went home to be with her Lord, at home with her family at her side, on Sunday, June 1, 2014.

Gail was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. Her love for the Lord radiated through her beautiful smile and kind heart. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was a rural carrier for the United States Post Office out of the Elkview office. Gail was a member of Reamer Gospel Tabernacle, Clendenin.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Thair Cummings, and brother, Robert L. Cummings.

Surviving are her loving husband of 36 years, Steve Arbogast; sons, Jeremy Steven Arbogast of Charleston, Adam Samuel Arbogast and Cassandra of Elkview and Asa Thair Arbogast and Emily of Elkview; daughter, Norissa Mae Rupe and Frank of Elkview; mother, Mae Lee Huffman Cummings; brothers, Roy Cummings of Southside, David Cummings of North Carolina and John Cummings of Texas; sisters, Judy Nichols of North Carolina and Robin Gunn of Walton; and grandchildren, Olivia Rupe, Noah Rupe, Abagail Rupe, Alex Rupe, Madilyn Gail Arbogast and Mallory Arbogast.

Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, at Reamer Gospel Tabernacle, Clendenin, with Pastor Clarence Deel officiating. Burial will be in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, at Hafer Funeral Home, Elkview.
