Fires continue in Fayette County, arson suspected
MINDEN, W.Va. (AP) – Fayette County authorities are investigating another fire in the Minden area.
Media outlets report that a house was burned around 11 p.m. Friday. About a dozen fires have occurred in the area in recent weeks.
Fayette County Sheriff Steve Kessler says the fires are being investigated as arsons.
Rewards are being offered by the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office and Crime Stoppers of Raleigh and Fayette counties for information leading to arrests and convictions.
