High water reported after storms

By By staff reports

Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatchers warned of high water on the streets of Charleston on Friday evening after storms rolled through the area.

Several people also called dispatchers at about 5 p.m. to report trees and power-lines down.

Several vehicle accidents were reported, but dispatchers weren’t sure yet if they were weather related.

MacCorkle Avenue and streets on the West Side and along Corridor G seemed to have the most water issues, according to dispatchers.
