Members of the Charleston Area Alliance’s SAGE (Sustainable Agriculture Entrepreneurs) program will sell produce from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the East End Bazaar, Washington Street East at Ruffner Avenue. SAGE is a multipronged economic development initiative with the goal of training and developing prospective urban agriculture entrepreneurs, or “agripreneurs.” Participants in the program receive education and training in farming and business practices that are both economically and environmentally sustainable.
Marshall Lab reunion
Marshall Lab School will hold an all-classes alumni reunion Saturday and Sunday in Huntington. The school opened in 1896 as a model school with a group of fourth-graders before moving into another building that housed kindergarten through 12th grades. It closed in 1970. SC library programs
South Charleston Public Library will show the film “The Amazing Spider-Man” (PG-13, 2012, 136 minutes) at 2 p.m. Monday at the library, 312 Fourth Ave., South Charleston. Other programs include Color-Science Week with sci-crafts at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday and 2 p.m. Wednesday. A youth program for ages 3-18 will feature the “Mad Science Show” at 7 p.m. Tuesday and “Modern Pop Art How” with Michael Albert at 7 p.m. Thursday. MountainHeart Child Care Resource and Referral Services will conduct a professional development session for child-care providers, facility providers and day-care center staff from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Fayette County Department of Health and Human Resources, Oak Hill.
