Boil-water advisories issued for Charleston, Sissonville, Fayette County
CHARLESTON, W.Va. — West Virginia American Water has issued a precautionary boil water advisory for about 500 customers on Garrison Avenue, Pacific Street, Hope Road, Rock Away Road, Atlantic Street, Beulah Street, Crestlyn Drive, Melrose Drive, Charmac Drive, Sugar Creek Drive Lilly Drive, Tate Drive, Walnut Drive and Craze Drive in the West Side area of Charleston and Sissonville. The advisory follows a water main break.
West Virginia American Water also has issued a boil-water advisory for about 500 customers in Whipple, Kingston, Mossy and Carlisle, in Fayette County, because of a water main break.
Customers in these areas should boil their water for at least one minute before use, until further notice.
