Mini-show features FestivALL Art Parade

Peter Marshall, the FestivALL Art Parade’s Grand MarshALL, waves to the crowd.

This week’s “RFC MINI SHOW,” online now at the PopCult blog (blogs.wvgazette.com/popcult), presents the 2014 FestivALL Art Parade in its entirety. With many of Charleston’s most creative people marching in front of the city’s coolest bookstore/coffeehouse/art gallery (Taylor Books), the annual Art Parade truly signals the beginning of FestivALL.

On the show, hear parade announcer Bill Kimmons introduce Grand MarshALL Peter Marshall, the Charleston Light Opera Guild, Camp Curtain Call, Jude Binder, Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School, the Chemical Valley Rollergirls, Kanawha Players, Qiet and more. This is the fifth year for the FestivALL Art Parade, and it returned to its original route in time for FestivALL’s 10th year.

Next week’s full-length episode of “Radio Free Charleston” brings more sights and sounds from FestivALL.
