Area roundup: WVU football tickets go on sale Monday

Single-game tickets and mini-packages for the West Virginia University football season will go on sale to the public at 9 a.m. Monday.

The Gold-Blue mini-package, which has tickets for games against Oklahoma, Baylor and Kansas State, will be available for $175 apiece online at WVUGame.com or by calling 1-800-WVU-GAME. Tickets for the Mountaineers’ matchup with Oklahoma will only be available as part of the mini-package.

Single-game tickets will be available for home games with Towson, Kansas, Baylor, TCU and Kansas State. The Towson and Kansas State games are priced at $55 each while the Kansas, Baylor and TCU games are $60 each. Fans may also use the “Pick Your Own Seat” option on WVUGame.com for those games.

The Towson game has also been designated Family Day with four tickets and a $25 concession voucher for $150 per package. Single-game tickets are also available in the Family FunZone section (133), which is alcohol free, for each home game.

Tickets for WVU’s road contests with Maryland, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State and Texas will also be available Monday. For non-season-ticket holders or non-Mountaineer Athletic Club members, a $25 MAC annual fund-ticket priority gift will be added for each away game purchase. Season-ticket holders and MAC members should login to their WVUGame.com account or call the Mountaineer ticket office to buy away game tickets.

The Mountaineers kick off the season against Alabama on Aug. 30 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta and tickets remain with prices ranging from $80 to $140 in the WVU sections.

For more information on tickets, call the Mountaineer ticket office at 1-800-WVU-GAME or visit WVUGame.com.
