Knife-wielding man robs Raleigh convenience store
GLEN DANIEL, W.Va. -- Raleigh County sheriff’s deputies were looking for a man who robbed a convenience store with a knife early Tuesday.
The white male entered the Glen Daniel Little General store at about 12:50 a.m., demanded money from a clerk after showing a knife, and fled the scene on foot eastward toward Surveyor.
Deputies examined the store’s video surveillance tape and used a police dog to track the suspect, according to the sheriff’s office. An undisclosed amount of money was stolen in the holdup, which remains under investigation.
