Anna Jean Hammack

Anna "Jeanne" Jean Hammack, 80, of Clendenin, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 6, 2014, at home after a long illness.

She was the daughter of the late Cary William Parsons and Edith Marie (Hoffman) Parsons Facemyer.

Jeanne, a Christian who lived for the Lord daily, was a director for Multi-Cap for 27 years. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many.

Jeanne is survived by her husband, Jack Edward Hammack Sr.; son, Jack "Eddie" Edward Hammack Jr. and wife, Debbie, of Elkview; daughters, Barbara Jean Jones and husband, Michael "Mick," of Clendenin and Kathryn Ann Dunlap Dawson and husband, Clyde Melton, of Clendenin; brothers, William Jack Parsons and wife, Iva, of Cambridge, Ohio, Robert Lee Parsons and wife, Mae, of Clendenin and Charles Herman Facemyer of Clendenin; sisters, Shirley Zeigler and husband, Randy, of Florida, Shelby Marks and husband, Bill, of Glenville and Donna Kennedy and husband, Ronnie, of Clendenin; grandchildren, Michelle Lee Parilac, Tammy Lynn Varney, Billy Joe Dunlap Jr., Kimberly Ann Dunlap Dawson and Brian Edward Hammack; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Jeanne's funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, July 10, at Matics Funeral Home, Clendenin, with Pastor Ronnie Kennedy officiating. Burial will be at Hammack Cemetery, Queen Shoals.
