Elizabeth "Ann" Joan Moore Lamm, 70, of South Charleston, went to be with the Lord on July 11, 2014, at home after a short illness.
Ann retired from the Kanawha County Assessor's Office and was a member of the South Charleston Church of Christ. She was also a member of the Stepping Stones of OVU. She was a member of the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls. Ann was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved the Lord, her family, friends, church family and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Preceded in death by her parents, Wattie and Mary Moore; birth mother, Mary Eubanks, and birth father, John McKenzie; and brother, Jackie Carpenter.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Robert Lamm of South Charleston; grandson, Darius Lamm; sisters, Cindy Hall (David) of Kentucky and Faye Long (Tom) of Marmet; brothers, Vaden Eubanks (Shirley) of Lucasville, Ohio, and Mike Lusk (Cheryl) of Clearwater, Fla.; sisters, Rosa Carpenter of Sissonville, Rita Cobb and Trece Landers (Jerry), all of North Carolina; sisters-in-law, Diana Keeney (David) and Alissa Lamm (Mike Williams), all of Charleston; brothers-in-law, Terry Lamm (Linda) of Pinch and David Lamm (Carla Brooks) of Charleston; and numerous beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and a host a friends.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, at Long & Fisher Funeral Home, Sissonville, with Pastor Louis Watts officiating. Burial will follow in Carpenter Cemetery, Sissonville.
A gathering of family and friends will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the funeral home.
