LEWISBURG, W.Va. — The third annual Lewisburg Literary Festival, featuring authors, guest speakers, workshops, book signings and more, will take place Friday and Saturday at Carnegie Hall and other venues throughout Lewisburg.

Meet author update
CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Because of a scheduling conflict, some of the Meet the Author: Millie Snyder event dates at Kanawha County Public Library have been changed.
Snyder, the former longtime area director of Weight Watchers, will share healthy eating tips from the re-released version of her “Lean and Luscious” cookbook.
Attendees will be able to sample fare from the cookbook. A book signing will follow the presentation.

Simone book signing
CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Taylor Books will host a book signing and discussion with author Fran Simone on from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 7. Her newly released “Dark Wine Waters” is described as a story of recovery, love and strength.
