There are videos galore for you to feast your eyes on over at the PopCult blog (blogs.wvgazette.com/popcult). These include a new “RFC MINI SHOW” and a first look at “Doctor Who: The Classic Series Regenerated.”

“Doctor Who: The Classic Series Regenerated,” featured in a PopCult Instant Video, is a locally produced fan-made film series that began shooting over the weekend. It is the brainchild of its star, Ronn Smith, who recreates the look of Tom Baker’s fourth doctor, from the classic era of the beloved BBC sci-fi series. Joining Smith in this endeavor is an all-star roster of local creatives, including Rose Winland, who plays the doctor’s companion, Sara Jane.

The mini-show stars Charleston mainstay Blue Million, which has performed original blues-inflected rock all over the area for more than 25 years. Alan Griffith and his crew are seen in previously unaired footage, performing two songs from April 2011.

Also check out Saturday’s “RFC” flashback, which is a remastered version of Episode 30, from November 2007. Musical guests are The Voodoo Katz and John Radcliff, as well as Mark Cline Bates, who opens for The Hybrid Soul Project at Friday’s Live on the Levee.
