Cleaning up Hope Cemetery

CHRIS DORST | Gazette photo Life Scout Brennan Fields, 17, a member of Boy Scout troop 31, helps clean-up Hope Cemetery off of Westmoreland Road on Sunday in fulfillment of his service project requirement for Eagle Scout. Fields organized the project and recruited about 25 fellow scouts, leaders and adult volunteers to clean the cemetary which dates back to the early 1900’s and has been abandoned because of a lack of maintenance funds.
