Man charged with sexual abuse

A Charleston man is charged with multiple sexual offenses for moving into the home of a 14-year-old girl and sleeping with her, according to West Virginia State Police.

Samuel Tolbert, 26, was arrested Friday on 232 counts of third-degree sexual assault and 232 counts of third-degree sexual abuse, according to a release.

The girl's grandparents contacted State Police Officer A.B. Ward after Tolbert was seen sleeping in the same bed with the girl, the release states.
