Morgantown escort service operator sentenced to 33 months
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- A Morgantown escort service operator convicted of charges stemming from a prostitution business has been sentenced to 33 months in a federal prison.
Donna Duelley of Morgantown also must forfeit her share in property up to $61,103, the amount the jury determined she derived through illegal activities.
U.S. District Judge Irene Keeley sentenced the 42-year-old Duelley on Thursday.

It still sounds quite harsh. Violent people get shorter sentences than that. Our jails fill with people convicted of petty, non-violent offenses while a revolving door frees the truly dangerous over and over again.
