CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Charleston police have charged two more people in connection to the Tuesday robbery of the State Credit Union, just east of the Capitol in the 2200 block of Washington Street.
Shearney Lee McKeller, 37, of Charleston, and Latisha Renee Dorsey, 38, of Charleston, are both charged with first-degree robbery.
Shawn Camille Elmore, 33, of Birmingham, Ala. and Charlene Wells Bowman, 26, of Montgomery, Ala. were both charged in the case with first-degree robbery Tuesday.
McKeller, who police initially said cooperated in the investigation, and Dorsey planned the robbery with Elmore and Bowman, according to a press release by Charleston Police.
They divided the money and went to the mall to spend it, according to police.
Elmore is also a suspect in the 7-11 robbery on Bigley Avenue from Jan. 5, 2007, and a robbery at the same credit union on Jan. 23, 2007, according to police.
