Kroger pharmacies offer diabetic test strips for $4 co-pay
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Diabetic patients with private insurance coverage may now buy blood glucose test strips for a $4 co-pay at Kroger pharmacies, the grocery chain announced.
"One of the concerns of our customers is that their co-pay on blood glucose test strips continue to rise," spokeswoman Allison McGee said in a news release. "People with diabetes can spend as much as $1,000 each year out of pocket on blood glucose monitoring test strips alone, even if they have insurance.
