Four school-based health programs in state receive grant money
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Four school-based health care programs in West Virginia were among the nearly 200 nationwide that received $80 million in federal funds this week.
Camden-on-Gauley Medical Center, Ritchie County Primary Care Association in Harrisville, Community Care of West Virginia in Rock Cave, and CHANGE in Weirton all received about $500,000, according to a news release from the National Assembly on School-Based Health Care.
