CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The United Food Operations is asking people and businesses to help with its 31st annual food distribution program that is expected to feed 30,000 Kanawha Valley residents. The UFO launched its campaign Friday at the Mountain Mission Food Pantry on Charleston's West Side. The all-volunteer group provides supplies and food to the 13 independent community food pantries that serve Kanawha and Putnam counties.
